Changes for our suppliers in the new year
The new year is bringing some changes, which we would like to tell you about below.
- Introduction of SAP S/4HANA on 1 January 2025
- Change to the document process from 1 January 2025
- Handling mandatory e-invoicing from 1 January 2025
Introduction of SAP S/4HANA
Following intensive preparations, we are planning to migrate our existing SAP system to S/4HANA on 1 January 2025. Based on our proven business processes, we have developed a powerful and stable system that will meet the requirements of the future.
In terms of logistics, our procurement activities at the end of the year will be comparable to those of previous years. The last regular goods receipt will take place on Wednesday, 11 December 2024.
Our company will be closed for the holiday period from 21 December 2024 and will be back for you on 6 January 2025.
In order to avoid any late settlement of invoices, please send PDF invoices to rechnungseingang@reyher.de and invoice and record all services and deliveries already provided at the earliest possible date. Invoices that have not been transferred digitally by 13 December 2024 (17:59) probably will not be processed until 6 January 2025, which means that there will be considerable delays in payment.
In the course of the SAP project, there will be changes in some areas, which we would like to inform you about here.
New REYHER article numbers
After 20 years, we have had to reorganise the structure of REYHER article numbers and add three digits to the article numbers. After the changeover to S/4HANA, all orders will only contain the new REYHER article numbers. The GTIN (formerly EAN) has been retained.

Forms
Our forms have been completely revised, including the order document, for example. All the information required for business processing is still available, but please note that the new REYHER article numbers will be used from 1 January 2025.
EDI – Electronic Data Interchange
The activated EDI connections will remain functional even after the system change; you will not need to make any technical adjustments. The previous REYHER article numbers will be reported to you in the outgoing documents (ORDERS) until further notice. For future new article listings, only REYHER article numbers in accordance with the structure valid from 1 January 2025 will be used. We will be able to process previous article numbers in the EDI return documents (ORDRSP, DESADV) you send. This means that outstanding transactions from 2024 will not require a change to the article number.

Supplier portal
The supplier portal is still available, but the new REYHER article numbers will be used there from the time of the system change. The supplier portal will be temporarily unavailable during the system changeover
REX – REYHER Extranet
The REYHER Extranet (REX) can still be used for label printing and logistics labelling. The new article numbers will be used there from the new year. REX will not be available during the data migration from the previous SAP system to the new S/4HANA. Consequently, please remember to create any labels and logistics labels you need urgently before 20 December 2024.
Changes to the document process
The necessary documents must be provided to the relevant departments to ensure fast and smooth receipt of goods and payment for services rendered. Compliance with the changed document recipients and document sets for shipments from overseas from 1 January 2025 is mandatory.
Handling mandatory e-invoicing
From 1 January 2025, the regulations of the German Growth Opportunities Act for issuing e-invoices will come into force for our domestic suppliers. We will be happy to receive incoming invoices in ZUGFeRD format from the new year. However, we will also process the previously used formats during the 2025/2026 transition phase.
