S/4HANA Introduction – ROM – REYHER Order Management – Kanban

The introduction of S/4HANA will have an impact on Kanban processes and projects from 9 December 2024. These impacts are summarised below. Our services will be fully available to you again from 13 January 2025.

Consulting & project planning
It will also be possible to carry out unlimited strategic planning of Kanban projects during the preparations for our S4/HANA introduction. Our team will be available to advise you on all your concerns relating to system optimisation, system expansion, system resolution or complete new kanban system implementation projects. 

Project implementation and data adjustments
It will not be possible to implement the planned projects from 9 December 2024 due to preparations for data migration. This includes, in particular, that data amendments to existing systems will not be possible temporarily:

  • New set-ups/changes to goods recipients/unloading points
  • New additions and modifications of container types
  • Changing container filling quantities
  • Changing or adding warehouse locations
  • Changing container sizes and container colours
  • Changing delivery days in the Kanban system
  • Amending service costs
  • Changing billing data (e.g.: invoicing by area)
  • Changing label layouts

Kanban statistics 
It will not be possible to retrieve statistics via the REX portal from 20 December 2024 until the end of the conversion work.

Individual transmitted analyses and documents may be subject to optical amendments as a result of the system change. The process flows will generally remain the same.

Delivery & ordering
The last planned shipping of filled and labelled Kanban containers will take place on 17 December 2024.
Once the changeover work has been completed, we will resume shipping goods on 7 January 2025 at the latest. Deliveries will be made from 8 January 2025, depending on the agreed delivery cycle and the availability of freight routes.

Incoming orders (e.g. barcode scanning or RFID identification) will be processed until 17 December 2024 at 10:30 a.m. Subsequent incoming orders will be stored in our system and processed as an order from the end of the conversion work.
