S/4HANA Introduction – ROM – REYHER Order Management – Kanban

With the introduction of S/4HANA, there are essentially no changes to Kanban processes and projects; only a few delays in delivery may occur shortly after the productive start. Our services will be fully available to you again from 13 January 2025.

Consulting & project planning
The strategic planning of Kanban projects was also possible without restrictions during the preparations for our S4/HANA introduction.

Project implementation and data adjustments
The planned projects will be implemented gradually after the start of the SAP S/4HANA system in accordance with individual agreements. Data adjustments to existing systems reported during the data migration from 9 December 2024 will be transferred to the new SAP system step by step:

• New set-ups/changes to goods recipients/unloading points
• New additions and modifications of container types
• Changing container filling quantities
• Changing or adding warehouse locations
• Changing container sizes and container colours
• Changing delivery days in the Kanban system
• Amending service costs
• Changing billing data (e.g.: invoicing by area)
• Changing label layouts

Kanban statistics 
Individual transmitted analyses and documents may be subject to optical amendments as a result of the system change. The process flows will generally remain the same.

Statistics for December 2024 will be provided during January 2025.

Delivery & ordering
The last planned shipment of filled and labeled Kanban containers before the SAP changeover took place on December 17, 2024.

After completion of the conversion work, we started shipping goods for buffered Kanban orders again from 2 January 2025  Deliveries will be made from 8 January 2025, depending on the agreed delivery cycle and the availability of freight routes.
