Changes for our customers at the turn of the year

The new year is bringing some changes, which we would like to tell you about below.

  • Introduction of SAP S/4HANA on 1 January 2025
  • Handling mandatory e-invoicing from 1 January 2025

Introduction of SAP S/4HANA

Following intensive preparations, we are planning to migrate our existing SAP system to S/4HANA on 1 January 2025. Based on our proven business processes, we have developed a powerful and stable system that will meet the requirements of the future.

Our shipping activities towards Christmas will be comparable to those of previous years: Our company will be on holiday from 21 December 2024 and will be back for you from 6 January 2025.

Due to necessary system preparations, the last regular goods shipments will take place on Tuesday, 17 December 2024. The process for the automatic creation of deliveries will only run until 11:00 am. Please submit your orders in good time.

Returns will be processed until Wednesday, 11 December 2024. It will only be possible to process consignments arriving after this date after the end of the company holidays.

The introduction of S/4HANA will result in changes in some areas, which we would like to inform you about below.

New REYHER article numbers

After 20 years, the REYHER article numbers are being reorganised as part of the SAP project and three positions are being added. We will still be able to process the previous article numbers for your orders (including via EDI). It will be possible to continue to use familiar GTINs (formerly EAN) unchanged.

Forms

Our forms (including order confirmations, invoices) have been completely revised. They also contain all the necessary information for the transaction, of course.

Webshop RIO - REYHER Internet Order

Due to the SAP changeover, the RIO web shop will not be fully usable from 17 December 2024, it will no longer be possible to order shopping baskets or possible to transmit enquiry baskets. From 20 December 2024 at the latest, we will temporarily activate a maintenance page, the web shop will then no longer be usable.

EDI - Electronic Data Interchange

The activated EDI connections will remain functional even after the system change; you will not need to make any technical adjustments. EDI orders received during the changeover phase will be buffered and processed in the new system.
Our new article numbers will be used in outgoing documents (ORDRSP, DESADV and INVOIC) from 1 January 2025. This may affect the identification and import of the documents into your system.

ROM - REYHER Order Management – Kanban

It will not be possible to make any data changes for Kanban projects (introduction/optimisation/extension) at REYHER between 9 December 2024 and the end of the company holidays. This means it will not be possible to amend system or container master data (fill quantities, container colour, delivery points, delivery interval, storage locations, label layout, etc.).

Handling mandatory e-invoicing

As of 1 January 2025, we will make use of the transitional period stipulated in the German Growth Opportunities Act and will continue to send invoices as they are currently sent. Consequently, you will not need to make any changes to the process with regard to REYHER.
We are planning to send invoices in ZUGFeRD V2.2 format in the future. A date for the nationwide activation of legally compliant e-invoices has not yet been set. However, we will let you know about this step in good time.

Your contacts at REYHER will be happy to answer any questions you may have and will direct you to the right place for specific topics. Thank you for your support!
