In fantastic weather, a team from REYHER took part in the 5th UKE charity run last weekend. Katharina Fegebank, 2nd Mayor of Hamburg, sent the approximately 300 runners to the track around the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf and the Eppendorfer Park. The donations went to the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry UKE this year. It is intended to improve the the clinic's own garden, which, according to clinic director Prof. Schulte-Markwort, is of great importance for inpatient patients.
The donation run was accompanied by a colorful supporting program such as goal wall shooting, balance test or visit to a fire truck of the volunteer fire department Lokstedt. In addition, current HSV and FC St. Pauli jerseys were auctioned with the signatures of each entire squad.
REYHER supports the UKE charity run as one of six sponsors. For more information, visit the UKE website.
