In the meantime, we have been living in a shutdown in Germany for several weeks, but the infection figures have not yet decreased as hoped. As an additional measure, the focus has therefore shifted to wearing FFP2 or KN95 masks. These offer better protection against infection than the common everyday masks, but are also associated with significantly higher costs.
REYHER has therefore decided to donate 5,000 KN95 masks to the Hamburg-based aid organization 'Hanseatic Help' at short notice. The pallet with the masks was handed over to the organization, which is now distributing the masks to various aid organizations in the Hamburg area.
Since its founding in 2015, Hanseatic Help has supported refugees, the homeless and other fellow human beings with donations in kind and provides logistical support for social organizations. Relief transports abroad are also implemented and supported. The commitment is made possible by monetary and in-kind donations (such as clothing, shoes or hygiene items).
