It felt good to finally be back in Hamburg, said HSV striker Martin Harnik, as he stood in front of the assembled REYHER team. Born in Hamburg, he moved to Bremen twelve years ago and made his breakthrough as a professional footballer at the sports club in the green and white club colors. This summer, the striker changed to Hamburger SV - and thus finaly back to his home town.
His ‚Hamburger Weg‘ led him this Monday for the first time to REYHER to hang, together with the staff, whish lists of deprived children and adolescents of charitable institutions to our Christmas tree, as part of the annual Christmas Day action of the HSV foundation together.
The employees of REYHER now have the opportunity to take a card from the tree and fulfill the respective Christmas wish. The participants - together with their families - can deliver the presents to the Volksparkstadion on Tuesday, December 10th. As every year, the entire HSV team will be there.
